Rosary boxes are made of wood and have an icon panel fixed to the top. There are four sizes of boxes designed to accommodate various Rosary bead diameters: Larger Size Rosary Boxes: 10 mm Beads: Round, approximately 8 cm. (3.1 in) diameter. Height: 6 cm (2.4 in). Designed to allow 10 mm (0.4 in) beads. See right-hand Rosary Box above. Medium Size Rosary Boxes: 8 mm Beads: Round, approximately 6.5 cm (2.6 in.) diameter. Height: 5 cm (2 in). Designed to allow 8 mm (0.3 in) beads. See left-hand Rosary Box above. Medium Size Rosary Boxes: 6 to 8 mm Beads: Rectangular; 6 - 7.5 cm (2.4 - 3 in) long by 5 - 6 cm (2 - 2.4 in) wide. Exterior height is approximately 3.5 - 4 cm (1.4 - 1.6 in). Interior height is approximately 2.4 cm (0.9 in). Designed to allow 6 to 8 mm (0.2 to 0.3 in) beads. "Baby" Rosary Boxes: Less than 6 mm Beads: Rectangular; approximately 4.4 x 2.7 cm (1.7 x 1.1 in.). Exterior height is 2.3 cm (0.9 in). Interior height is approximately 1.2 cm (0.5 in.). Designed for very small Beads - less than 6 mm (0.2 in). |
